2026 theme - all rise

rise together, lead together

That's the theme for WIM 2026, and it's both a call to attention and a call to stand up. "All rise" isn't about one group lifting another - it's about everyone moving in the same direction, at the same moment, toward a shared goal. The question we're putting to the room is simple: What do you stand for?

The case has never been clearer - when women rise into leadership, business rises with them. Yet progress toward equal representation remains slow, uneven, and in some places stalled.

At the current pace, parity is still 120 years away. That's not a timeline any of us should accept, and it's not work that women can do alone. It calls on allies and leaders of all genders to step up. It requires shared leadership and collective action. And it must start at the top, in rooms like this one.

The path to 50/50 starts here. Not in 120 years, in our time.

at WIM, we’ll tackle key questions:

  • How can multinational leaders embed equity into the core of leadership, culture, and strategy?
  • What practical actions can allies and advocates take to accelerate progress and why are they essential?
  • How can businesses learn from what works across regions and industries?
  • What does modern, inclusive leadership look like and who is shaping it?
